Policies

 

A 25% deposit is required at time of reservation. You will receive a text and email with your private code to enter the home and your room the morning of your reservation. Check-out time is 11:30 a.m.

Cancellation: Your room is being held with your credit card number through your reservation. Our cancellation policy is: $10 administrative fee for reservations canceled up to 2 days prior to arrival; Reservations canceled, no shows, or cancellations the day of check-in, or one day prior to check-in are subject to payment in full of the entire reservation. 

We want all of our guests to feel welcome at Morton House, however we do have some house rules: In compliance with the Indiana non-smoking law, all indoor areas and outdoor areas in front of our common rooms are non-smoking. We do not accept pets/animals. Due to costly cleaning expenses, any guest that violates the non-smoking/no pets policy is subject to a $200.00 additional cleaning fee. We have a maximum of 2 people per guest room bed. Children must be at least 14 years of age, unless you have reserved the entire home for your family.

While we know that accidents cause minor damages to guest rooms from time to time, we will bill the credit card used to hold your room for any extensive damage to carpet, furniture, linens and/or room damages. By order of the Fire Marshall, guests may not burn candles in guest rooms.

We provide complimentary beverages and snacks in the dining room and kitchen, We have two full size refrigerator/freezer available to you during your stay, along with a fully stocked kitchen at Morton House.  At the Loft, you will find a mini-fridge, range top, and Microwave for your use.
